In order to get to know the ludic universe better and explore its graphic possibilities, we were briefed to create a poster that represented a traditional childhood game chosen by us.
This poster should contain the origin of the joke and rules, functioning as an effective and interesting communication vehicle for anyone who wants to know the game.
Researching the origin of Queimada, I discovered that the game emerged in the middle ages , so I tried to bring elements inspired by the look of that time to the poster.
To give the poster a more playful aspect, I thought of using a manual illustration. I started sketching ideas for drawings that actually represented the game of dodgeball.
