This illustration series was created as a personal project, based on the Japanese tale of Princess Kaguya. The illustrations were created digitally.

Kaguya is a beautiful girl from the moon. Found on a bamboo stalk as a baby, she is raised as an ordinary girl by japanese parents. Growing up, her beauty attracts many suitors, including the emperor. But at some point she must return to her people, on the Moon.
