wecancer
In December 2019 I started my design internship at WeCancer, a technology startup for remote care of cancer patients. During that time working there, I learned a lot and was able to develop several different skills and areas of knowledge, mainly in branding and digital marketing. Nowadays I work there as a Jr. Graphic Designer.

DEVELOPED PROJECTS
As the range of projects developed for WeCancer was quite extensive, I leave the links below for you to go directly to those in which you are most interested.
BRANDBOOK
Given the need for clearer branding definitions for the company, I developed from scratch a strategic branding project, with the definition of mission, vision, and values, brand personality, purpose, and tone of voice. In addition, we searched for benchmarks, competitors and defined all the guidelines for the brand's visual identity.
NEW WEBSITE AND VISUAL IDENTITY
One of my first activities was to coordinate the development of the new WeCancer website, along with NUB Marketing. I created proprietary illustrations for the brand and the entire WeCancer visual identity was developed for the website.
ONLINE MEDIA CAMPAIGN
In order to generate conversions from the medical public, we developed a paid campaign on social media as Instagram and Facebook. I created all the (in sizes 1080 x 1080 and 1920x1080) in the campaign.
The pieces focus on the pain (need) of the target audience, which in this case are doctors and health clinics, and on how we can solve this pain. We use a simple and direct language, and a minimalist look, focused on information.
INSTAGRAM WECANCER
I also managed and created the new WeCancer Instagram posts and stories. These posts followed some editorial lines defined by us, such as product launches, about the brand, testimonials from patients, care heroes, inspirations, tips on food, customers and news.
SYMPTOM MANUALS
I also developed several symptom guidance manuals for patients, following the same line of visual identity that I applied to all other brand materials. Read all the complete manuals here.
I created everything from graphic design to diagramming and illustrations, defining a main color for each symptom. All manuals were designed for digital reading, in PDF format, to be shared with WeCancer patients via chat and email.
See all the complete manuals here.
PRINTED MATERIALS FOR HOSPITALS
To promote the WeCancer application to patients in client hospitals, I developed several implementation materials, such as folders, banners, posters, pictures, among others.
IMAGES FOR GOOGLE PLAY AND APP STORE
I also developed the images of the WeCancer applications (patients and healthcare teams) for Google Play and App Store .
NURSE TALK: ILLUSTRATED CONTENT FOR LINKEDIN
I also created several illustrations and covers for WeCancer’s Nurse Talk article series on LinkedIn. The series brings cancer content to health professionals, especially for oncology nurses.
