A Hat for Flora
Illustrations and graphic design created for the book "A Hat for Flora", written by the author Juliana Negrão. The illustrations were all done in colored pencils.
The book tells the story of a little boy hospitalized, who feels curious to meet his roommate, a girl who never goes out for walks. Flora is embarrassed about not having hair, so Peter decides to use his creativity to get closer to her. Every day, he creates a different hat so that Flora can wear it and feel more comfortable.
With a sensitive narrative, the book conveys a powerful message about the value of friendship and optimism in difficult times.
