circus capsule
This project is part of my graduation project, to obtain a bachelor's degree in Design. The circus capsule was one of the experiments we created to reach our final object: the game "history or memory".
Initially we created a nostalgic toy subscription club, a kit that includes games, toys, a booklet and other items related to the theme of each edition. It seeks to rescue users' affective memories, through objects from their childhood. The first edition's theme was the circus.

The club's logo alludes to a time spiral, or time machine, written in a hand-drawn typography, with a retro look. The hourglass also refers to going back in time, which is the toy club's nostalgic proposal.
The logo varies according to the theme of each edition. For the circus theme, we used the tent instead of the hourglass.
I was responsible for creating a thematic booklet that brings curiosities, history and other information on the theme of each edition of the Capsule. The booklet is collectable and can be kept in the binder that comes in the kit, when purchasing the first box.
We also created a game of charades with the name "Mas que Palhaçada é essa?" (What is all this clownery - in english). And a trapeze wood toy, called Mané Gostoso. The charade game has several boxes with different charade cards, each version of the circus capsule comes with a different version of the game, so that subscribers can complete the game playing with each other.
